Accessing a Certificate

Your course may offer certificates as proof of successful completion. The types of certificates available can vary, so for details about the specific certificates your course provides, contact the course team or the institution that created the course.

In addition to certificates, you may also be able to earn badges for achievements such as completing a course or a series of courses, or for participating in course activities. The badges you can earn depend on how the course platform is set up.

Accessing a Certificate

Some courses offer certificates, which you can access directly from your dashboard.

Below are examples of how the View Certificate
 option appears on a learner dashboard on the SkillsMax website.


To open your certificate in a web browser, simply select View Certificate. From there, you can share or print your certificate.

Share a Web Certificate

You can share your web certificate on social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

  1. Ensure you're logged into the social media platform where you want to share your certificate.
  2. In a different browser tab or window, open your web certificate.
  3. Click the social media icon at the top of your web certificate.
  4. A dialog box for the chosen platform will appear, with the certificate URL automatically entered.
  5. Complete the steps for posting your web certificate on the selected platform.

To print your web certificate, follow these steps:

  1. Open your web certificate in your browser.
  2. In the certificate header, click Print Certificate.

For the best professional print format, follow these guidelines:

  • Do not print the header or footer. Depending on your system, you may need to deselect these print options.
  • Set the margins to the minimum available. In some cases, you may need to select the Minimum
     option for margins.
