Note: You must specify your year of birth on the Account Settings page before you can share a full profile. If you are under 13 years of age, you will only be able to share a limited profile.

When creating a full profile, the following information will be shared in addition to your username and profile image:

• Full Name
• Location
• Language
• A brief paragraph about yourself, which may include interests, goals, or any other details you wish to share. This section has a 300-character limit.
• Links to your personal social media accounts.

To Add or Update Your Profile:

1. In the top navigation bar, click the drop-down menu icon next to your username and select Dashboard. Then, select the Profile tab.
2. In the header section of your profile page, under Profile Visibility, choose Full Profile.
3. (Optional) Add a profile image.
   • Your image must be in .gif, .jpg, or .png format and under 1 MB in size. If no image is uploaded, a default placeholder image will be displayed.
   • To upload an image, hover over the placeholder and click Upload an image. In the file selection window, choose the image you wish to use and click Open.
4. To change or remove your profile image, hover over the current image and click Change image or Remove. If removed, the placeholder image will appear in its place.
5. On your profile page, hover over any information you wish to edit. Click into the field to select an option or input new text. Changes are saved automatically.

Note: If you switch your profile visibility from Full Profile to Limited Profile, your full name, location, language, and descriptive paragraph will no longer be visible. However, this information is saved and will be re-displayed to other learners and course teams if you revert your profile to Full Profile.
