Search a Single Course

Search a Single Course

To search for a term within a single course:

  1. Go to the Course page for that course.
  2. Enter your search term in the Search field located in the upper-left corner of the page, then press Enter. Your search term can consist of more than one word.

After pressing Enter, your search results will appear in the right pane, including the following details:

  • The search term you entered
  • A brief excerpt from the surrounding text
  • The location within the course where the search term appears

To view the search term within the course content, select View next to the search result.

Note: You cannot use the Search field on the Course tab to search course discussions. To search within discussions, use the Search all posts field on the Discussions tab. For more details, see Participating in Course Discussions.
