Start or Resume a Course

After enrolling in a course, it will appear on your dashboard along with the course start date. You can access the course content once the start date has passed.

Start a Course

Note: You don’t need to sign in exactly when the course begins to start it.

To start a course:

  1. Locate the course on your dashboard.
  2. Select View Course.

The course will open to the Course page. Below any messages from the course team, you’ll see the course outline. A Start Course option will be displayed above the outline.

  • To start at the first section, select Start Course.
  • To start from a different section, expand the course outline and select the section you want to begin.

Resume a Course

When resuming a course, you can return to the page you most recently completed, either across all courses or within a specific course.

Note: A page is considered complete when you’ve finished all of the following:

  • Watched all videos.
  • Submitted answers to all problems.
  • Viewed all text or other content for at least five seconds.

Once you complete a part of the course, a green check mark will appear on the course outline. For more details, see Progress Indicators.

Return to the Most Recently Completed Page Across All Courses

  1. Select the arrow next to your username on any page.
  2. Select Resume your last course.

The course you were most recently working on will open to the page you last completed.

Return to the Most Recently Completed Page in a Specific Course

  1. On your SkillsMax dashboard, locate the course and select Resume Course next to the social media sharing options.
  2. Or, open the course and select Resume Course on the Course page.

The course will open to the page you most recently completed.
