To view your scores on individual problems, as well as your current overall course grade, in both a chart and a list format, navigate to the Progress page from any part of the course.
On the Progress
page, you’ll see a chart that shows how you’ve performed on each graded assignment throughout the course. The assignments are listed along the horizontal axis, while your percentage score for each lesson is plotted on the vertical axis.
The vertical axis includes markers representing the course grading scale. For instance, if the passing grade for the course is 60%, a marker will be shown at 60% for easy comparison. If the course assigns a grade of B for scores of 50% or higher, and an A for scores of 75% or higher, there will be additional markers at 50% and 75%, labeled accordingly as “B” and “A”.
Note: Assignments are grouped by type in the progress chart. For example, all homework assignments are shown together, followed by quizzes, then exams. Each group will display a bar representing the average score for that type of assignment.
Each bar within the chart reflects your total score for all problems within that specific assignment. For individual problem scores, refer to the Grading Details section below the chart. Additionally, each assignment type group will have an “average” bar that displays the overall average score for that type. This average updates as you complete more assignments throughout the course.
Note: In some courses, results for certain assignments may be hidden. For example, the results of an exam might not be visible until after the exam’s due date. When results are hidden, you won’t be able to see which problems you got right or wrong, nor will your score be displayed on the Progress page or in the course body.
Some courses also allow for a set number of graded assignments to be automatically dropped from your final score. For instance, if there are 8 quizzes, the course might exclude the lowest-scoring quiz from everyone’s final score. A dropped assignment will be marked with an "x" above the horizontal axis in the chart.
